Here's a recipe my mom always use to make when I was little, easy to make and very delicious. I hope you enjoy it.:)

☆ Baked Apple(焼き林檎)☆

Ingredients:

☆ 2 apples
☆ 150cc fresh cream
☆ 3 1/2 tbsp beet- sugar
☆ 1/2 tsp brandy
☆ maple syrup

Direction:

1. Cut the apple into half and take off the core. Wrap in aluminum foil.

2. Place in oven preheat 200℃, and cook for about 35 min.

3. Put the fresh cream in a bowl, add the beet-sugar and brandy, and whip until foamy.

4. When baked the apple, place in a dish, and garnish with whipped cream and maple syrup.

Hi
What is beet- sugar? Does it mean sugar made from beets, as oppossed to cane sugar? Recipe looks delicious, think I will try it.
Thanks

Sugar beets are as abundant a source for table sugar as sugar cane is, and grows further north than sugar cane, but is slightly more labor intensive at harvest. In any event, I wasn't aware that sugar beet sugar was available as a labeled product. I've always seen it is just plain sugar.
