Just threw this together to accompany some Teriyaki-broiled salmon. Was a BIG hit. Quite spicy, so be forewarned!

Breezy Hot Sesame Broccoli

1 small bunch broccoli, cut into florets
1 large clove of garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon hot sesame oil*

Bring a pot of water large enough to hold broccoli florets to a boil. Add florets & boil for 3 minutes. Turn off heat, drain florets, & return to heat-off burner. Add hot sesame oil, garlic, & soy sauce. Stir several times & leave partially covered until serving time.

*This is commercially produced sesame oil that has been steeped with hot chilis. VERY hot stuff - but delicious. A definite staple in my pantry.

hot sesame oil is great stuff.
