I asked my mom for her recipe, and here it is:

500g/ 1,1p ground meat, best pork only, if not half-half
2 slices of toast or equivalent breadcrumbs
about 2 eggs
1-2 onions, chipped
spices (pepper, salt, paprika)

wet the bread until soft
mix all ingredients well and form to small balls, fry in a pan...

these are just about- measures.. as Mom said, she does it without any measures.. just to make it fit.. :glare:

This is just like our polpettini!!
We like to eat them with either cranberry comport or swedish style creamy sauce... how do you enjoy them? Do you serve them with some sauce or condiments?

(hey long time no see Cara!! If you have been around I kept missing you... good to see you again!)
