Something Ive created.

Heres the secret.

2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. smoked paprika
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. garlic salt

I cook the wings first then coat them in this, sometimes I coat them first, then bake. Good stuff, seriously.
 
Next time try drying off the wings with a paper towel and rubbing down with the mixture and storing them overnight in a baggie. Grill or place in oven then broil for crispy skin.

Sounds like a great combination - even brown sugar would work nicely.

OK, I want these wings right now! :(
