I used BetterThanBoullion beef broth, a star anise, a bit of cinnamon stick, a little 5 Spice to make the broth instead of making the broth the 'right' way.

Softened up some thin rice noodles.

Put the noodles, some bean sprouts and a bit of L.O. thinly sliced fried tofu in a bowl, a few slices of shallot/onions. Poured the broth over, added some basil, thin slices of jalapenos. Squeezed in some fresh lime juice.

It sure wasn't authentic but it sure was tasty.

O.K. youse guys (as they say in NJ and Brooklyn) you've had your fun.:LOL:
