I am looking for an Eastern European recepie of dish I ate as young man. I can't remember the name of it for the life or me. But I have been craving the tought of it for a while. It is basically a steak coverd in a mustard sauce that is encased in deep fried batter. Any ideas on what this may be and how to make it. Stumped.

This isn't exactly the same thing, but is similar and could be altered to give you something close; Beef Wellington. Look up the recipe on Google and then, before wrapping the beef in the pastry, coat it with a spicy mustard/pepper sauce. I'd bet that you'd be close to getting what you are craving, but without having to deep fry the food. And the pastry would be much lightly as well.
