I wanted a new recipe for Chawan Mushi (and yes, I do have a set of those "cups" but they are in Ottawa but I am wintering in Northern Minnesota...). I stumbled across this site:

The recipes take a bit of deciphering, but I've bookmarked several to try (when the KN is out at his monthly Military dinner). I might have to wait until I return to Ottawa--good thing I brought back Dashi powder and bonito flakes!
