Since I live on an island surrounded by watercress sandwich types, it's a bit of a trek to buy many ethnic foods in person. Many of Parthenon's prices and their shipping & handling charges are hardly bargains; but since they have Pick salami and quince preserves as well as canned polpe, I placed an order with them this PM.

Any of you folks have any dealings with them?

Forum's feedback's a bit disappointing / ominous. Vendor advised that my order was shipped today. They're based in Wisconsin. Hope Pick Hungarian salami is as tasty as it used to be and that their merchandise is of as high a quality as Penzey's.

Sure hope the weather stays cool until I receive the order.
