[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]2 cups medium or long grain rice[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]4 cups chicken broth[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1 chinese sausage-sliced thinly[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1/2 cup chinese mushrooms, soaked and sliced thinly [/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1/2 to 1 lb pork rib[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]2 tbsp light soy sauce[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]2 tbsp dark soy sauce[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]3 stalks green onions[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1-2 tbsp chilli pepper flakes (optional)[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1 tbsp vegetable oil[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1 tbsp sesame seed oil[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1/2 medium onion-chopped[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]3 cloves garlic-chopped[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1 tsp ginger-chopped[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]1 tsp pepper [/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]2 stalks green onion - for garnishing[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Directions:[/FONT]
  1. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Fry onion, garlic and ginger in sesame and vegetable oil until ingredients are slightly browned[/FONT]
  2. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Add chinese sausage and fry until sausage is slightly crispy. Move sausage to side of pan.[/FONT]
  3. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Add chilli pepper flakes to mix.[/FONT]
  4. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Add pork ribs to mix, add pepper and light and dark soy sauces.[/FONT]
  5. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Add chinese mushrooms.[/FONT]
  6. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Add rice and mix well with the remaining ingredients.[/FONT]
  7. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Add chicken broth to mix and cover until rice has absorbed most of liquid. Cook on low to medium heat to prevent burning.[/FONT]
  8. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Continue cooking uncovered until all of liquid has absorbed.[/FONT]
  9. [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]Garnish with green onions and serve warm[/FONT]
    [FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]**If you do not have a claypot, you may use a cast iron pan and use aluminum foil as lid if necessary. Cast iron also makes rice crispy on bottom.[/FONT]
