Although i know the mint sauce accompaniment to chicken tikka in most indian restaurants looks pretty easy to make, im looking to find a recipe that will turn the sauce green instead of the usual yellow with turmeric as the restaurant i visit now in my new home Moscow serves it this way and it is very tasty. I dont want to just use colourings and im thinking its just the mint that makes it green but i would like some help and ideas please!

Thanks in advance!!

How I make mine is this, but not a vibrant green color, it's just more of a hue of green. Does that make sense?

About 2 cups of plain yogurt
1/2-1 whole cucumber (grated with skin on)
minced or prssed garlic to taste (About 1-3 cloves)
Salt to taste
Mint to taste (About 2-3 teaspoons dried)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mix well, chill and serve.
You could also add fresh herbs, like parsley - if you want vibrant green, process the herbs with the yogurt.
