Or "Happy St David's Day" if you don't speak Welsh

St David is the patron saint of Wales. Apparently his day is celebrated in a suburb of Philadelphia!
BBC News - St David's Day: A Welsh enclave in America celebrates

If I can remember, I'll add a recipe for welsh cakes - a sort of cross between a scone and an American-type pancake. (the recipe on the above link isn't anything like the welsh cakes that my welsh friend's mothers used to make.)

Thanks for sharing, Mad Cook.

Around here it's Happy Opening Season for our little community Dairy Queen. Forget the groundhog or daffodils. When our Dairy Queen opens for business every March 1st, we know spring is either here or around the corner. I'm soooooooo ready for a chocolate-dipped cone it's not even funny. My taste buds and my tummy are doing the "happy dance" as I type this.
