Oh one of those gambling machines that you stick coins in and seldom ever see any come out. We don't have them in Western Australia. Have gambling machines at the casino but they aren't the dreaded "pokies". Not having seen one up close, I guess it could be a fruit machine but I wouldn't swear to it.

Pokeno??? We put a 'y' or an 'ie' on the end of most words we abbreviate here! Football, footy; BBQ, barbie, etc. Probably short for a poker machine but without the cards!

Thanks, Bilby.......I guess the way we played, SQ, it would be considered gambling but the amounts were paltry and wouldn't pay for an addict's bus fare home.......
