The most interesting things happen while we're out of town!

On November 14th, Peppermaster received confirmation from the Guinness World Records folks that there is a new World's Hottest Pepper in town.

Scoring a blistering 1,569,300 SHUs the new record holder is the Carolina Reaper.

Grown by the Puckerbutt Pepper Company of South Carolina, Ed Currie has spent several years growing out this pepper and testing and testing ad nauseum.

We're proud to inclued the Puckerbutt Pepper Company as one of our pepper suppliers.

I am sure that sooner or later science will find that all these fools who eat foods that are not meant for human consumption have done more harm to themselves than just giving them bragging rights. Who will remember their names ten minutes later? They lose those first five minutes of fame just trying to get their breath back.
