Looks like our first smackdown of Winter 2019 is upon us. Break out your Dutch ovens, meats and potatoes.

It is 90F in Dallas today, but 30-degrees cooler tomorrow. You folks up North are getting a pretty decent wallop.

Here on the Island of Montreal, we are just having Autumn weather. Today's high was actually 18°C (64°F), but it will be a little cooler the rest of the week, nothing seriously cold.

Sixty degrees F *is* seriously cold to Texans We had a low of about 60 last Saturday, which is when I broke out the enameled cast iron Dutch oven and made Italian pot roast. Two nights ago, I made a Mexican style soup, but it's 72 and sunny right now. DH might be grilling chicken in the dark [emoji38]
