I'm late for people in Europe but for those in the US, are you going to observe earth hour? It's from 8:30 to 9:30 your local time. You turn off all non-essential lights and electronics for one hour. I plan to. What about you?

Yes, we did it - we had another couple over for dinner and then we lit tons of candles and played cards - they had to leave early though cause one of their children got sick (poor little guy), but we had a blast while it lasted - we talked about doing it again next month!!!

I think my poor neighbor got confused over the street being dark. He was out there with his flashlight trying to figure out why the street was so dark. I don't know him so I didn't go over but I did see him out there a bit confused.

This is a very good idea. I will do this from today and try to make my neighbor aware about it and request them to do the same just for one hour.
