I love this show. Basically, people walk down the streets of NY and hail a cab. They dont know until they get into the cab ( and the lights flash inside) that they are on cash cab. They have to answer questions (trivia), and earn money as they go. At the end if they have lots of cash, they can gamble it, and do a video question. Anyone seen this show?

i have ambuh. :)

it is a pretty cool idea, but i think the trivia is lame. way too easy, or worse, full of obscure pop references. it's like the writers of the show are some old guys who are dumbing down a trivia show, and a few pre-teenage girls.

I watch it from time to time. Although I know people that love it, I just find something about it annoying/agitating. And I have drove a taxi before so that might have something to do with it.

I like the trivia. I didnt think it was too much pop oriented, it was just general knowledge questions, some historical, some political, current events, etc. Oh well

I like the show too, Amber. It's kind of a hoot - fast-paced (well edited - you'd almost believe it happens that quickly) and the "contestants" are really funny sometimes. If there are two or three passengers, it always seems to be just one who knows all the answers...

I don't think it could possibly be a spin-off of "Taxicab Confessions"... which is a soft porn show on HBO, if it's what I saw several years ago.

we have something similar in G.... It could be fun but I don't like the guy driving the taxi and asking the questions.... :yuk:

To a "Junkie" even BAD heroin is still heroin; i watch it every day!

Of course, i think MY daily dose is a more Quality product!!

The show might be good, butttttt

when you can win one million bucks on other TV Shows the prize they give is like chump change.

I dig the show. I want to get in one of those cabs next time I am in the city.

I told my sister about cash cab. She lives in CT and goes to NY frequently, so I think she'll be looking for the cash cab  It's just fun and easy money for doing nothing but answering trivia.
