just seen that nasa's i tonne rover "curiosity" has touched down safely on mars & already sent back the first pictures.as i have been a keen amateur astronomer since i was a kid it's a massive well done nasa,fantastic achievement & can't wait for the high res pics to start coming in,from me:w00t2::clap:
the 200 ft dish at jodrell bank is only about 40 mins drive up the motorway so i think i'll pay a visit soon....they usually have a big display for stuff like this:cool:!

i know tom,where i work if they see a stranger they chuck bricks just in case.......couple more visits & i'll have enough to build me own house.....if the fractures ever heal that is:ermm::ohmy::LOL::LOL::ROFLMAO:!!
