We live in central Florida and are watching the hurricane's path very closely. It looks as though we won't escape this one. Today, we'll be trying to buy water and other necessities, charging phones and batteries and making sure we have all of our personal papers together in case we have to leave. I haave a party planned for Saturday, hope we can go ahead with it.

Glad you are prepared! So many people still just blow the warnings off even after all the tragedy of the last couple of years. Take care and stay dry.

We always keep canned goods, water, batteries, medicine etc in the basement. The hurricanes that I've been through here in Atl aren't horrible like the ones in MD. We lived in Annapolis. But they are still very scary.
