RIP Joe. You are the proof that anyone can sing as long as there is heart in the singing.

I want to expand on that statement a little bit. I lost a dear friend of many years last year. We were in the music education business for many years together. She had the singing voice of an angel and her dear husband never was able to sing at all. They threw a wonderful home Christmas party many years ago, complete with live music. Her husband had rehearsed a long time, and got up with the microphone and live musicians and sang this to her. There wasn't a dry eye there.
Proof indeed that a song like this is truly from the heart.

RIP, Carole too.

Sorry to see he's gone. His performances were memorable.

I guess it's one of the negatives of aging. You see the idols of your youth die.
