When I was younger and lived in Fl, we used to hunt them. We would go for dove but would occasionally happen upon some wild rabbits if we were lucky. If that was slow we'd head to the woods for some squirrel.

I used to hunt all the time, too. We just never really rabbit hunted. Are they like squirrel? Taste/texture-wise I mean, not cuddle-wise
Kinda the same flavor, but not as gamey. A little like dark meat chicken.

I like rabbit, too. Made it for Buck many years ago and didn't tell him what it was because I wasn't sure what his reaction would be. He liked it well enough until he asked what it was. All he could say was, "Thumperrrrrrrrrrr!" He didn't eat another bite.
