I sent my husband to the store to get Cheer detergent, and he comes home with the HE (High Energy) version of it. lol.....

We have a normal washer, not a HE version. Is it ok to use the HE detergent on a normal washer?

Sure is. Its the same stuff, just doesn't "suds" up as much. Cleans the clothes just as well though.
