Hello,

I am a graduate student in journalism at Northwestern University. My classmates and I are brainstorming ideas for cooking magazine, and we are curious what you all, especially men, read.

If you have a couple free seconds we'd all love to hear about your favorite food related websites. And if you could specify in your response your gender and age that would be even better.

Thanks for your help!

Well obviously DC!! and rachael ray. I'm female and 46, I also buy those little cook books at the grocery store checkout line.

Most of the guys I know like something simple but tasty. One of the magazines I used to subscribe to, "Taste of Home's Quick Cooking," has a section called "Give Me 5 or Fewer." The recipes in that section have no more than 5 ingredients.

With just the two of us living here, and having very little kitchen space, two of the things I am interested in are one-pot cooking and slow-cooker recipes.

I am female and 50.
