my color cartriges won't print. advice 'bout them would be appreciated. thanks.

Are the cartridges old ones or new ones? If they're old ones, perhaps they've run out and you need to get new ones. If they're new ones, I don't have any suggestions. Someone with more computer knowledge than I will have to help.

Your printer should have a feature that tells you if your cartridges are low or not. That's the best advice I can offer. Is it printing in just black? Or is the black "off" too?

my black prints, elf.
that dagnabbin color ink isn't.
my color ink is new- that kind you inject. plenty of ink.
they worked fine, then went 'ka-put after a few printings.
i pressed its cleaning button, i'll test print.
thanks, guys.

obiwan, you needn't specify with my printer, thanks, though.
wait, found a few buttons that specify. let me test print & i'll reply if that works.

if the ink is not compatible with your printer as some lesser quality refill your own, it might have gummed up your printer heads or like with my canon the chip overheats and dies
