We're working on a pottery room filed with pottery we've collected from different states we've visited. I was hoping someone (from Washington,D.C.) would give me more information on pottery made in D.C. The more traditional, the better. Thanks.

Dina, Buck and I lived for 30 years in the Washington, D.C. area before moving here 13 years ago. Are you going to visit D.C. to purchase your pottery? If so, I would suggest you might want to visit the Georgetown area where there are a lot of specialty shops. You might find some pottery that is done by local artists there. Otherwise, just check for information on local artisans through the tourist bureau or your hotel help desk. There are so many artists who work in all kinds of medium that I can't give you a better answer. D.C. is rich with talent.
