Andrew Zimmern's "Bizarre Foods" thought us that eating bugs is common in less developed countries. I'm not ready to try them.
 
I think I mentioned somewhere else that I draw the line at insects, reptiles, and rodents, unless I am in immediate danger of starving to death.
 
OK - so most of us love prawns and shrimp. They´re sea cockroaches, that´s all.
Insects are a huge source of protein, hence their use in poorer countries.
I´ve eaten chapulines (grasshoppers) in Mexico and Lime-ants in Venezuela. No big deal, but not something I think I´d go crazy about!
