Messages?

Good morning everybody
Do we have private message receiving boxes at this community?
I am a member of another community and only discovered yesterday, that i have a private message box there. I did not realise people were sending me private messages. I was already a member for a couple of weeks, before i discovered the messages.

You have a couple of ways to do that, Mel.

1) If you are reading a thread and want to send a PM (Private Message) to a poster - click on their name in the column on the left side of the page - this will open a "drop down" box .... scroll down to "Send a private message to <their user name>." and click on that.

2) Go into your Private Message area. At the top of the page, below the DC logo, look on the right hand side of the page .... it should say "Welcome Mel!" and below that you will see a link for "Private Messages" - click on that. This will open a new window ... on the left column of the page click on "Send New Message" ... type in the name of the person to whom you want to send a message, etc.
