Olive oil study questions 'extra virgin' claims

Interesting article and clearly another example of 'he said/she said'. So if you're of a cynical turn of mind and believe that corporate chicanery is the norm, then the report as presented will be no surprise, and if not that cynical, then the opposite.
I'd venture a guess that like most studies of this kind that the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
 
I think it was Cook's Illustrated that did an olive oil review awhile back that I thought was interesting. I'll have to see if I can find it. There really can be a difference between a good one and a not so good one. Can ruin a dish.
