Here's a photo of The Z and me in Vegas.
We had a great time, and here's what I have to report....

Z is a fantastic person, with a very funny and cool sense of humor, and I recommend that everyone going to Vegas needs to look him up. We also met his girlfriend, who is the kind of girl you hope your son ends up with! She's a doll with a sweet disposition.
Both times we hung out were really fun!:mrgreen:

Hey jkath, how was your trip? Did your husband get to try his skill at any of the hold 'em tables? Is that the Bellagio or the Venetian in the background? I can't tell because of the lighting. I'm pretty sure it's the Bellagio though...
 
Actually, that's the newest tower at Caesar's Palace. The second time we met up, Z & his girlfriend let us hang in their suite at the top of the tower. Woo Hoo~!

As for poker, mr. jkath played at Mirage & Flamingo as we were staying there, but somehow ended up at the Aladdin and had great luck (I still don't know how we got there.....j/k) I hear it's going to be the Planet Hollywood Casino as of 2006, so we wanted to rack up some comp points there. Well, that, and it's got 2 of my favorite stores in it's mall. At least I got a lot of shopping in, but of course, I still left lots of $$$ there for you next time you go!
 
Oh ok, I just checked out Ceasars Palace's website. The "Augustus" tower. Maybe next time I go I should check out the strip again. On my last trip I only really went to see the Wynn hotel. Plus I was kinda tipsy. The rest of the time was spent downtown playing poker. But not tipsy.
 
I'm so jealous! I LOVE Vegas!! That's a great pic too. Very cool that you actually met someone from the forum!:)

How do you know? I haven't even seen the pictures with her yet!!! (but you're right... she's an attractive lady :) )
 
Jkath and I are going to try to find each other in October in Pasadena when we go down for my son's quartet performance at the regionals there. Gosh, jkath, your faithful gym trips have put you in great shape! My...um...fingers are in great shape!! Think I'll eat a lot of salads between now and October.:LOL:

My music partner (guitarist) and I are working on our Celtic program for performances this fall/winter. Here's the outfit I'm ordering to wear for those gigs: http://www.verymerryseamstress.com/ila07.jpg
It will be ankle length, not dragging on the ground, and the model is not chestically endowed like I am, so it will look different on me, but I'm excited to get it! I'll send some performance pictures when we get them in early October. I've talked my partner into wearing a poet's shirt, so we're on a roll!

Its so Great you all had a wonderful time. I want to live the Star Trek Life:alien: when Barbara and I go out to Vegas in December. You both look Great and are very nice thank you for sharing part of your fun ! :chef:
