Wow, 2016 has been a tough year for music. Too many artists taken too soon - by our standards. Guess Heaven's Band needed another member...

Spent some of the best years of my life listening to ELP - on an LP. Still have "best years" going, and still listen to ELP...on CDs.

Just saw this. Don't know how I missed it. I too was a huge ELP fan. Each member was an expert in music, and music theory. I didn't always agree with their themes, but nobody composed better music, not even the classical giants, many of whom ELP borrowed from. And Greg Lake's voice was incredible, one of the best in all of rock. I will always fondly remember, and play their music.
