RIP Mrs. Brady

Just saw on the news that Florence Henderson passed away at the age of 82. She was just on Dancing with the Stars the first week cheering on Marsha, um I mean Maureen McCormick and looked great!

Here's the story of a lovely lady
who was bringing up three very lovely girls
all of them had hair of gold, like their mother.
the youngest one in curls.

Here's the story of a man named Brady
Who was busy with three boys of his own.
They were four men living all together
yet they were all alone

Till the one day when the lady met this fellow.
And they knew that it was much more than a hunch,
That this group must somehow form a family,
That's the way we all became the Brady bunch.

The Brady bunch, the Brady bunch.
That's the way we became the Brady bunch.

Thanks for the childhood memories LP.

Leave it to Beaver had nothing on The Brady Bunch.

She was the part of so many families and apparently was a very nice lady.

As side note, my father went to school with her and spoke well of her.

A good epitaph for her would be the first line of te Brady Bunch theme song: "Here's the story of a lovely lady..."
