He was a year younger than Shrek. I spent many an enjoyable night with Mr. Clancy, I am sorry and my thoughts go with him and his family.

I also enjoyed his books a great deal. I stopped reading them when his name was on the jacket and someone else actually wrote the book.

I never read any of the ones others wrote. His new book, with Jack Ryan, is due out in December.
