BBC News - Scottish team develops 'nutritional? pizzas

A Scottish nutritionist has teamed up with an entrepreneur to produce what they claim are the first nutritionally balanced pizzas.

The pizzas are said to contain 30% of an adult's guideline daily amount of vitamins and minerals.

They are also said to have a third of the recommended amount of calories, protein and carbohydrate.

The pizzas were created by Mike Lean, of Glasgow University, and businessman Donnie Maclean.

Because we have been eating the no so good stuff for the past 50+ years...

Now all they need is an ale that comes up with 70% of an adult's guideline daily amount of vitamins and minerals, calories, protein and carbohydrate.

Greg they have Irn Bru which fits that bill. Not an ale, but the national drink. Weird orange fizzy stuff .

Cant see the pizza being a hit unless they cover it in lard and deep fry it.

Well its definitely not the coolest thing the Scotts have invented. My vote is for fried chicken or the decimal point. :) Makes me proud to have Scottish blood.
