No, but I know someone who mistook it for guacamole his first time he went to a Japanese restaurant. I'm sure it came out his eyes, nose, and maybe even ears after a huge, totally unexpected bite!

lol first time I had wasabi, I was trying sushi for the first time. found it bland and told that to the guy making it. He said to try with soya sauce, still found it a bit blah, so he told me to try wasabi, didn't mention that a little dab will do ya so I spread it on my sushi roll, my nasal passages were clear for weeks.
