Spring must be near

Oh we're geting slammed with snow. We're expecting 3-4 inches by this evening and at least another 10 by tomorrow evening. Man I hope this is the last winter blast we get.
I'm so sick of it. Like I said spring is so near yet soooooooooo far.

Even though the temps have been going down into the teens at night, the peepers are still peeping here.

Maybe just one stubborn one, in his long johns.

Robins are here in Missouri all year round, but a friend said she had an oriole and a phoebe in her yard this week.

I have a feeling spring is going to arrive about Monday, and things will just bust out blooming. Last year, we had an incredibly warm March, trees leafed out, then we got about 3 days in the 20's and froze everything right back into January. No peaches or apples or blueberries.
