What a fantastic idea!
The kiddos are out in force on their bicycles in our neck of the woods.

Now I have to go buy a bear!

Isn't this a fun idea PF?
So far about 20 homes in our Community have put
stuffed Bears in their front windows.
I have a coupla of `em, so I think I'll change them up,
put clothes or hats, balloons, ya change it up as
long as the kids or outta school.
Our County has not mandated that we stay indoors,
so there's loads of folks out and walking, biking, hiking,
fishing, etc. just advised to be respectful of other's
6 foot limit when in public parks and so on.

I see on other social media sites that this Teddy Bear Hunt
has gone International!
I'm going to change up my bears from time to time!

It has gone all over.. I keep up with our home town of Pacific Grove, CA through FB and its big there too..

Our apartment is situated so that we don't have windows which people walk or drive past.. First time I've looked at that as a minus..

Our parent company has two facilities, both here in Torrington. Small company. Our facility needs to have a couple of negative pressure rooms in case there is a Covid-19 outbreak among our residents. We decided we would makeover 4 rooms for a total of 7 beds under negative pressure and another 4 rooms (7 beds) as step-down beds. We took bids from several construction companies. The winning bid started work today. We were told by the owner that they want to provide the labor for nothing, so the job will only be the cost of the materials. We are overjoyed and there are still good people in the world not out for the money, they want to help.

Our response...we will feed them their meals, pay their hotel bill and those of us who bake are bringing in goodies for them everyday.

PF that’s great. We are seeing over and over there are good people out there who want to do their part.

This little Local-Gal can't go without her steamed White Rice!!
Ten Pounds oughta hold me ;)

I already have pink flamingos...will have to think of something else. Being a rural area, we have to be careful of dogs that would like you for lunch.
