The word "nerd" was first coined by Dr. Seuss in "If I Ran the Zoo."

1. which nursery rhyme character burned his mouth on porridge?
2. which planet is the namesake of a goddess of love?
3. do you recall the first name of Ozzie and Harriet's older son?
4. who portrayed john f. Kennedy in a 1964 movie?
5. can you name the state whose principal river is the Wabash?
6. what was the winner's average speed during the very first Indy 500?
7. what year was that, by the way?
8. can you name the policeman who hounded the fictional dr. Richard Kimble
(TV's "the fugitive")

America's Amish Communities are exempt from Federal and State Income Taxes.
1. the man in the moon
4. cliff Robertson
5. Indiana
6. 74.59 mph
7. 1911
8. inspector Girard

This is one of the most common misconceptions about the Amish.
We're not sure where this misconception has it's origin, but nothing could be farther from the truth.
Surely, there are tax dodgers and evaders among the Amish, just as there are among all groups. but the vast majority pay their taxes without complaint.
