Ulysses F. Grant was a professional ball player, but he bore no relation to the President.
Grant was hailed as one of the best black players of his time and he played on an
integrated team for a short time. However, he endured discrimination because of his
color, and at one point, many of his team-mates refused to sit with him in a team picture.
