Is it just me or has valentines day gone crazy and way WAY too commercialised...

I love surprises and do love being romantisised but not into all this teady bear/chocolate/fancy card millarky...

If i was to be surprised with a meal, even beans on toast ha, id b touched...

Dont worry too much guys, us lasses dont expect the world, possibly just a thought that day that you love her....oh am i mushy then? teehee...

We were watching tv last night and the commercial for the hoodie/footie pjs came on saying what a wonderful way to say I love you. Shortly after came the Vermont bears commercial. I turned to my dear one and said " these want to make me gag" he replied "oh good. that let's me off the hook then" I returned "my valentines gift is in the garage right now" (we just bought a new freezer we weren't expecting to shell out money for). We both decided we got a good deal!!

My wife is no longer into romantics and all the commercial crap that's out there. She just wants cash on Valentine's Day. She'd be very upset if I spent $100, for instance, on flowers or dinner. This is easy for me too so it's all good.
