What's everyone doing this weekend?

We're taking a first year, haunted bus tour called "Bumps in the Night". It's a historical tour with a Halloween twist taking us through buildings reportedly haunted by ghostly apparitions. Some members from our local drama club will be acting out, boosting the fear factor by channeling their inner zombies and other creepy characters. We had been wanting to take this tour in Old Town area of San Diego a couple of years ago, but our kids were too young. We're looking forward to some fun tonight!

What's everyone else doing this weekend? Let's hear about your weekend plans.

If you have much, give of your wealth. If you have little, give of your heart. - Arab proverb

I am installing a sump pump since my finished basement flooded last weekend. And if the rain holds off this weekend (which it is not supposed to) then I will finish sanding and water sealing my deck.

Dina, I would LOVE that!
We're not doing anything too exciting. Having a dinner and movie night in tonight, Saturday I am going to fix my pulled pork and then we are going to a friend's moving out party, and Sunday I am going to Long Island to go look at bridesmade dresses with my friend so she can make a decision and then we will go out to dinner with them.

we are flying home tomorrow from Hawaii All day in airplanes and airports, with our 2 year old. A day to look forward to. Sunday we will probably recuperate and spend time with our missed dog.

I hope you're having a great trip, corazon--travel safely!

We had a weekend of yard work planned--weeding, edging, fall fertilizer, the works, but now that it's supposed to rain all weekend, I'm not sure what we'll do. Hubby said he has a bunch of indoor projects he could start working on so I guess I'll be playing assistant!

I will be playing assistant to Handy Husband too, PA. We (OK, he) have almost got the gas fireplace in the basement finished. Still have to put up some quarter round to finish off the top of the mantel, sand and repaint all the spackle splots, and (this is my dream) transfer all the wildlife pictures down to the basement walls with the rest of them.

Oops, almost forgot. Halloween is coming. We really need to dig out our cheap plastic Halloween junk and decorate the outside of the house to terrify the little neighborhood kids.

p.s. PA: you are too pregnant to be doing anything other than handing dh a cold beverage now and again during his weekend efforts. You might say "Nice job, honey" once in awhile too.

p.p.s. Cooking. I never really get to do this anymore since I started working.

Today, I installed a garage door on the garage with lots of help from Dad. It was not the big door just the side door. Tomorrow, I am going to relax and maybe do some baking. Sunday, I am going to Reno, NV with my brother to help him buy a new TV. He has had the TV for at least 15 years and it is starting to have issues. We were thinking of going to the Macaroni Grill for lunch.
