Fruit and/or nut bars -- ISO recipes for?

I did a search in numerous ways trying to find recipes or a thread that discusses fruit bars, nut bars, fruit and nut bars, granola bars.....everything came back "no results"....

Does anybody have a T&T recipe(s) for these? What I'm looking for is something along the following: a fruit bar, with a bottom crust or layer, a layer of fruit, and then a top. Also, a "bar" with granola-type ingredients...something that does not need refrigeration, holds it shape, can be held in your hand and eaten from your hand.

Not sure if Alix's Lemon Bars fit your first criteria, but they sure are DELICIOUS! If you dont want to call the powdered sugar the "top", maybe you could put something else on top, like say an icing of powdered sugar and water? And/or coconut?
