Being English I should know how to make perfect Yorkshire Puddings. The recipe I'm going to share was given to me by a mates mom whilst living in Paphos, Cyprus. My mates parents were English and bought a retirement home in Cyprus, on Sundays I would be invited for a traditional British dinner. Her recipe was quite simple:

1 egg
1 ounce plain flour
1 ounce milk (semi-skimmed, add half water to full fat milk)
salt to taste

mix eggs with flour until well blended, add milk and blend well. Rest in fridge for 30 minutes.

heat a teaspoon of oil in each segment of a muffin tin until smoking hot, add Yorkshire pudding batter and cook 15 minutes in a hot oven.

Perfect!

How many does this recipe make? I've made Yorkshire Pudding using drippings from a roast beef, but that was years ago.
