Thank you Katie, By the way I thought I was going to set my fire alarm off since my D,O was billoing pretty good, I say better then if you had a group of people with 2x potpourri snoker that looks like something another kind of smoker would have in their dorm room.
 
Cast iron cookware doesn not really need a lot of maintenance. Just no soap, or abrasive pads is my motto, but if you'd like a guide for the long term care of cast iron cookware, here you go: Byron's - Dutch Oven Care
