Looking for a cream pie recipe from Ohio ,it’s made with a regular crust and the filling is creamyWith a pecan – vanilla flavor .it's for a friend she had this as a kid.

Yes it did but it was a smooth texture ,I never heard of it this pie myself.have a great day!!

I've never heard of it either...Anything else that your friend could remember -- color of the filling -- did it have a meringue on it --- really anything that may offer a clue to aid in research....You have a great day too!!

yes it had a meringue, She said when she use to visit her grandfather in the hospital, they got it there.Have a great day .

It may have been some type of institutional, Pre-baked, Thaw & Serve pie...Depending on how many years ago your friend was eating it...At any rate it seems it's gonna be a tough mystery to solve....Hopefully someone else will have an idea....

Enjoy!
