Chocolate Hazelnut Cake With Pear Compote

I'm making this cake for a get together I'm having Sunday. if I make it friday, I have no idea if I"m suppose to keep it in a sealed tight containor on the counter or refrigerator? I'm not a huge cake maker.

do u have a cake holder on a pedestal with a lid. that should do it. put together at last min.
