ISO Walnut cake

Here in the Finger Lakes of New York, we have a Amish Market Called "The Windmill" located in Pen Yan. They have baked good there and sell pies, cakes, muffins etc, I always purchase the walnut cake that has a white frosting thats is very light weight . It is delicious. With Covid and my DH medical issues we have not been able to attend all last year and most like likely this summer.
Does anyone have a recipe for this fantastic cake. Thank you, stay well

It looks like it, have to keep looking for the frosting/icing and it wasn't a buttercream, it was not to sweet and very light.
Thank you, appreciate it - Going to try it

I bet that it was an ermine frosting. It's very light and not too sweet, an old fashioned icing.

It will be an experimental weekend next week as we have molasses cookies to finish up.
Thank you for taking time to answer. I will let you know how both turn out
