Duncan Hines offers a Pineapple Cake Mix. I have used it several times adding the juice from the can of pineapple in place of any juice called for in the directions. I also add a teaspoon of vanilla. This is a very moist cake. The cake mix for the upside down version calls for the addition of vanilla pudding. If you choose to use the pudding, remember to add additional time for it to bake. The last time I made it, I sent it to my daughter. It is one of her favorite cakes. He daughter ate three-fourths of it before anyone even got a piece. She stated she wanted it for her birthday cake.
