Hey guys, I'm new around here and I've found so many cool recipes and ideas already!

I'm planning on making some savory cupcakes. Yeah, cupcakes. I guess I mean savory muffins with some sort of topping (?).

Do you have any ideas? I really wanna get this right.:ermm:

I thought maybe rosemary, cream cheese and hummus might be a good combination. What do you guys think?

Thanks, and peace! :chef:

Welcome to DC :)

Bacon and cheese, sundried tomato and feta, brown onion, mushroom or zucchini muffins are all yummy!

This recipe can be devided and used for muffins...
Cheese, Onion and Sun-dried Tomato Loaf
Just a little something I slapped together. Came out pretty tasty so I would like to share :)

250gr self rising flour
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
100gr butter
2 scallions or spring onions finely chopped (chives work well too)
25gr chopped sun dried tomatoes
250ml grated cheddar
1 large egg beaten
125ml buttermilk

In a large mixing bowl sieve flour, salt and cayenne together.
Rub in the butter till the mix resembles fine breadcrumbs, then add onion, tomatoes and cheese.
Make a well in the center and gradually stir in the egg and buttermilk.
Spoon batter into a 20cm x8cm loaf tin. Grease and flour tin first!
Bake in a 180C oven for 45mins or till a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

Wow, thanks for the recipe! :D I might just do the same, cheese and onion is such a tasty combination, and sun dried tomatoes... mouthwatering.

I Just made a cheese-onion-tomatoe frittata today!

Thanks again, and peace! :D
