2 cookie questions

I am looking for a recipe for a cookie that contains oatmeal and is covered in chocolate. I think they are called rocks? Also I would like to dip chocolate chip cookies in melted peanut butter. Does anyone know of liquid peanut butter? I've tried melting it but is too thick and heavy.Thanks

Peanut butter by nature is not going to turn into a liquid. Is this a recipe you have or one you want to try and make up? You would have to add butter or another liquid to peanut butter to make it come close to a liquid. Peanut butter by nature is a creamed solid.

Could you use peanut butter in place of part of the regular butter in a cookie recipe?

Or should I just make peanut butter cookies and add chocolate chips??

I want to dip half of the choc. chip cookie into the peanut butter. like you would do with a Black and White cookie.

I'd love to try that Comissary. It does sound good. Have you tried melting peanut butter chips instead of "real" peanut butter??

I would use melted peanut butter chips or peanut butter coating chocolate. Several companies make them.

No problem. That's experience talking. I put too much peanut butter in my sugar cookies and they just crumbled. Did it again the next day with less peanut butter and they were great.
