Dark Chocolate-peanut butterchip/choc. chip cake mix cookies

I just made a batch of dark chocolate cake mix cookies.
What I did :
Dark Chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup veg. oil
3 tablespoons Monin Expresso flavored syrup
1 egg
half a bag peanut butter chip-milk choc. chip mix.

baked at 350 degrees for 15 min. I like my cookies like a cookie , not cake .

The Expresso syrup gave the cookies more intense chocolate flavor. You probably could use strong coffee or expresso .

Not a big cookie baker, but the espresso syrup caught my attention. Definitely must investigate/seek out the syrup. You reminded me of a cookie recipe where the cookies are topped with chocolate-covered coffee beans. Thanks for sharing & the inspiration. Sounds yummy.
