500g flour
250g butter
2 eggs
4 tblsp milk
30g yeast
salt
sugar (coarse sugar) for decorating
take the eggs out of the fridge and bring to room temperature.
stir the butter until foamy (do you say so..?), add the warmed egg, salt and flour, at least fold in the yeast dissolved in warm milk and create a fine batter.
roll out finger thick rolls and cut off ca. 30cm pieces
take two and plaid them together
let rise for 30-45min and bake at 200°C (bit less than 400°F) until golden brown
